Community Engagement

Centering meaningful and impactful collaborations with communities, Cornell’s Einhorn Center for Community Engagement provides students the opportunity to contribute to lasting, positive change, while developing essential skills and building powerful connections within the Tompkins County community and across the world.

The Community Work-Study Program (CWSP) coordinates work in a diverse range of community-based positions in collaboration with partners. This work aims to improve the quality of life for community residents, particularly low-income individuals, or to address issues and topics related to their needs that they identify.

To participate in part-time, hourly employment through the CWSP, students must have Federal Work Study eligibility.

If you have an interest contributing to our local community and want to get involved, whether through part-time employment or other community-engaged learning opportunities, the Einhorn Center is available to support you.
