Summer 2023 Updates
Beginning with the 2023-24 academic year, students that receive Federal Work Study funding in their financial aid package will be able to begin using those funds during the summer. This means that continuing students can begin using their 2023-24 FWS funding to support their summer student employment on June 1, 2023. New students can begin using their 2023-24 FWS funding beginning July 1, 2023.
This change allows for a continuous student employment experience and reduces the need for the mass termination and rehire process, while ensuring the Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment can maintain accurate fiscal records for reporting purposes.

- No, you will not be able to use Federal Work Study funding until your financial aid package for the 2023-24 academic year is available.
